       INTRODUCTION

                       The institutional plan is like a spectrum which reflects the divergent Facts for smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya machinery. The different components which are needed for smooth conduct of the system and the effective execution of the planning have been designed for the entire session.  

                    The plan which depicts all the micro-level planning of the whole Vidyalaya system serves as a ready guide and reminder to carry out all the activities as per the prescribed time schedule day by day and month by month, having a clear picture components and ensure the desire and expected level of harmonious functioning.

                       Thanks to our Deputy Commissioner Sh. BACCHA  SINGH and A.Cs of R.O. Bhopal who have been giving valuable advice, guidance and affection to the students and staff of the institution.

INTRODUCTION TO NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SAMITI   

                  In order to provide accessibility to quality education for talented   children predominantly from rural areas, National Policy on Education 1986 envisaged setting up of pace setting institution one in each district of the country.

                Now the scheme has presently extended to 575 districts covering27 states and  07

            Union Territories.

          The broad aims for establishing Navodaya Vidyalayas are to serve the objective of   excellence coupled with equity, to promote national integration/ provide opportunities to the talented children to develop their full potential and to facilitate the process of school improvement within the framework, the specific objectives of this scheme are as follows:

       i)  To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture,  inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education to the talented children predominately from rural areas.

       ii)  To ensure that student attains a reasonable level of competency in three languages.

    iii)  To promote national integration through migration of students, from Hindi to non-Hindi speaking States and vice versa.

               iv)  To serve in each district as focal point for improvement of quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities.

               Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya as pace setting institutions were established for achieving the objectives of excellence coupled with equity and social justice. In order to achieve these objectives , it is imperative on the part of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to evolve a process of all round development of the individuals. New program and innovative practices and activities are being organized as a part of curriculum transaction in these institutions for setting and maintaining higher standards of students performance.

  To what extent these institutions are able to achieve its objectives require a constant appraisal of students learning as well as impact of instructional strategies to get the desired feedback about the pupils’ achievements and effectiveness of the instructional strategies at vidyalaya level. This is possible only when there is continuous comprehensive evaluation undertaken by teachers themselves as recommended in the National Policy on Education, especially where the students stay away from their parents in the boundaries of the vidyalaya campus.

Ø      To establish pace-setting institutions to be models in the districts and to be resource centers for promotions of excellence.

Ø     Promoting values & preserving culture.

Ø       Art in education programmes to provide opportunities for students to inculcate nationalistic values through sharing and learning traditional skill and art with the help of renowned traditional artists.

Ø        Computer literacy to students with separate facility for theory and practical classes in the computer lab.

Ø        Resource room facilities for intensive studies in various subjects.

FACILITIES

FEATURES OF OUR VIDYALAYA LIBRARY

           01. It has sections ranging from text books and reference books to fiction and general knowledge.

               02. It aims at making learning a fun process having assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby related books, books on travel, animals and birds, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology and others topics.

              03.It has also different educational periodicals and magazines.

             04. A quiz programme Book review are organised  in the morning assembly under library services. daily under library services.

              05. It has nice collection of education CD's covering all the subjects.

              06. It has different types of books including special books in Hindi and English .

             07. Daily News paper in sufficient Numbers for students in the houses and Dictionaries  are provided to the students.

              08. Collection has been made to get a mixture of valuable variety of books of choice and award winning editions and authors, writers , poets which is a very good store house of knowledge and information for the students and staff.

CLUBS :-

                 Maths, Science  and social Science clubs have been set up in this Vidyalaya . It contains  models, teaching aids and important kits. Students of junior classes are carving their imagination into real frame and are getting the practical knowledge independently for skills to shape their personality and cultivate scientific tamper.

LANGUAGE CLUB:-

            Language club have also been set up in the Vidyalaya for brushing the child's linguistic skill. By this club students are getting acquainted with designing of the phonetics and spoken English dealing with the books of CIEFL other multimedia for grammar improvement which help to shape themselves in language skills
