JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SELECTION TEST

         JNVST:- This Vidyalaya, JNV Jashpur is located at a remote district place of chhattisgarh  which was bifurcated from its parent district Raigarh in 2006. It comprises of 08 blocks of very thin  population dominated by tribes. During the session 2006 the registration of JNVST was 820 which increased to 1288 in 2007 and 2172 in 2008.which is an increase  of 57 %  and 69% respectively. The successful conduct of JNVST 2007 and 2008 and increase  in registration  could be possible by the cooperation of the district administration in view of the poor public transportation system throughout the district to approach for publicity by the JNV staff.

        It was possible by effective adoption of strategies/instruction of NVS Headquarters as well as Regional office from time to time. Continuous interaction with the District Collector ,DEO, Asstt.Comm. (Tribal) ,BEOs, Headmasters and village Sarpanchs and sticking to newspaper advertisement also gained its fruits.
